How does the daily minute allowance work?

Each plan comes with a daily allowance of on-demand tutoring minutes that can be used anytime during a student's four hour pre-agreed upon window. (7 AM - 11 PM EST, Mon-Fri). Unused minutes expire at the end of each day, ensuring fair access for all students.

What is the difference between teachers?

Certified Teachers (Core & Enhanced Plans) are experienced educators who are experts in providing on-demand academic and homework support.

Master Teachers (Premium Plan) are our most experienced educators, all holding advanced degrees and credentials in Special Education. They provide strategic coaching on executive functioning, study skills, and long-term project management.

What if my child needs more than their daily minutes?

Our goal is flexible support. If a student occasionally needs to go over their daily allowance for a big test or project, their teacher will work with them to accomplish this. This may mean having another teacher step in if their teacher is booked for the rest of the time, working asynchronously with the student, and/or another solution.

What does a typical session actually look like?

The sessions are student-driven and tailored to their immediate needs. A student logs in, clicks the "Green Light," and is instantly connected with a teacher to collaboratively solve a problem, brainstorm an essay, or review a concept using a shared virtual whiteboard. It's live, interactive problem-solving.
