Conduit Summer
We are on your wavelength.
The skills schools aren’t teaching. The summer that changes everything.
For students with learning differences, the summer slide is real. But so is summer burnout from programs that don’t get how their brains work.
Wavelength is different. Our camps are designed by specialists in dyslexia, ADHD, and executive function challenges. Small groups (8 students max). Research-based methods. Real skills that transfer back to school.
Six camps. Small groups. LD specialists. Research-based methods that actually work for differently-wired brains.
What we offer:
- Reading & writing intensives using The Writing Revolution
- Math foundations that finally make it click
- AI tools for learning (not cheating)
- Executive function bootcamp
- Study and research skills
Whether your child needs to strengthen reading and writing, build math foundations, learn to use AI tools effectively, or finally get a handle on executive function – we’ve got a camp for that.
The Camps
Read & Write Intensive
Ages 10-12 | 4 weeks | $2,250
Transform your reluctant writer into a confident one. Using The Writing Revolution methodology and a compelling novel, students build skills from sentence-level to paragraph to essay with the kind of explicit instruction LD learners need.
Students will:
Read a complete, challenging book with support
Master sentence construction and paragraph organization
Build annotation and active reading skills
- Finish with a polished written piece
🧮 Math Foundations
Ages 10-12 | 2 weeks | $1,200
Fractions, decimals, and percentages: the concepts that trip up everything that comes after. This isn’t drill-and-kill. We use visual manipulatives, real-world applications, and the kind of patient, explicit instruction that finally makes it click.
Students will:
- Build conceptual understanding, not just procedures
- Use visual tools (Polypad, manipulatives) to see the math
- Connect division, fractions, decimals, and percentages as one system
- Gain confidence for pre-algebra and beyond
EF Bootcamp
Ages 10-12 | 2 weeks | $1,200
The skills behind the skills. Before your child can succeed in any class, they need to know how to plan, organize, manage time, and follow through. This camp builds the executive function systems that LD students desperately need but too rarely get taught to apply.
Students will:
- Build a personalized planning and organization system
- Learn to break down assignments and manage deadlines
- Practice prioritization and time estimation
- Leave with tools and habits they’ll actually use
✍🏾 Read & Write with AI
Ages 13-18 | 4 weeks | $2,250
The future of writing isn’t AI vs. human – it’s knowing how to use AI as a partner without losing your voice. This camp combines The Writing Revolution methodology with AI tools to teach students how to draft, revise, and edit with AI support while keeping the work their own.
Students will:
- Learn when to use AI and when to write independently
- Use AI for brainstorming, outlining, and revision not drafting
- Develop a personal writing process that includes AI ethically
- Produce a polished piece using the full process
AI for Learning
Ages 13-18 | 2 weeks | $1,200
Your teen has access to AI. But do they know how to use it to actually learn without just getting the (possibly wrong) answer? This camp teaches the skill of using AI as a tutor, not a shortcut. Especially critical for LD students who need explicit instruction in how to engage with these tools.
Students will:
- Learn the 5 phases of an effective AI tutoring session
- Practice prompting for learning, not answers
- Understand which AI tools tutor vs. which just answer
- Build an ethical framework for AI use in school
🧐Research & Study Skills
Ages 13-18 | 2 weeks | $1,200
Most students have never been taught how to study – they just re-read and hope. This camp teaches research skills (using AI tools that eliminate hallucination risk) and evidence-based study techniques that actually work for how LD brains retain information.
Students will:
- Learn to research using NotebookLM and other source-grounded tools
- Build effective note-taking systems
- Practice research-based studying (not just re-reading)
- Create a study toolkit for the school year
